Providing 24/7 coverage of the Oakland Raiders

Draft history

The Raiders Research Project presents:

The Oakland Raiders’ draft history, 1998-2008

This look at the Raiders’ draft history includes the years 1998 through 2008, a time period that covers all players on the Raiders roster as of May 30, 2008, and more. The years players were on the Raiders’ 53-man roster serve as a kind of bar chart showing how long each draft pick contributed to the team. Also included for comparison are select undrafted free agents who made the Opening Day roster as rookies.

Years are the seasons the player was on the 53-man roster for at least one game. Bold indicates a starter for at least half the season. “IA” before a year indicates a player was on the roster but did not play; “IR” indicates a player missed the entire season on some form of injury reserve; “PS” indicates he was on the practice squad for at least a portion of the season, but not the active roster; “PL” indicates a player was on the roster for the playoffs only.
