Silver and Black Report

Alameda, CA - In February, the Oakland Raiders claimed wide receiver Todd Watkins off waivers from the Atlanta Falcons. Since the start of mini-camp, the athletically gifted pass catcher has been one of the most impressive players on the field on his passage to make the club.

The Raiders have always been fascinated with his physical tools. Now they have the opportunity to see if his skill set is good enough to round out a receiving unit that is in need of help at the back end after Javon Walker, Drew Carter and Ronald Curry.
