After the Game: Darren McFadden talks after loss in New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS, LA — Rookie running back Darren McFadden ended with 8 carries for 30-yards during the Oakland Raiders 34-3 loss in New Orleans. After the game, he talked to the media about his health, the Saints and the team’s performance on offense this afternoon.

On how the offense played:

Its just one of those days we didn’t get everything going good. It happens sometimes.

We went into the game trying to keep our offense balanced. That’s one of the main things we’ve been trying to do.

On the Saints defense:

They did a pretty good job I think. They handled themselves well.

We just couldn’t get into a rhythm.

On his health:

I feel pretty good.

Way better than I’ve felt since I [injured it].

On running on turf indoors:

To me, I really couldn’t tell [the difference].
