On Tuesday, the Oakland Raiders released veteran cornerback Duane Starks. They also waived fullback Matt Hahn and tackle Adam Spieker.

Starks, a member of the Baltimore Ravens during their Super Bowl XXXV victory signed initially with the Silver & Black after the New England Patriots released him following the 2005 season.

In 2006, he participated in only three games as a Raider, recording 3-tackles and in 2007, he was inactive for the team’s first four games before being waived to make room for JaMarcus Russell. Starks did not latch on to a team the remainder of the season, but was re-signed by Oakland on April 15, 2008.
