• Acquired: Selected in the 6^th round (175^th overall) of the 2007 NFL Entry Draft  

 In 2007, the Oakland Raiders found a prospect at fullback who could be the bulldozing blocker that they may need to pave lanes for the several talented rushers on their roster.

 Oren O’Neal played in 14 games last year and showed glimpses of being a solid point of attack blocker that can occupy defenders around the line of scrimmage. Veteran Justin Griffith is not your proto-typical fullback, more of a pass catching threat, and this is why O’Neal will prove to be valuable in 2008 in short yardage situations and goal line packages when extra bulk is needed to move the chains or get into the end zone.

 O’Neal also contributed on special teams, but after fighting for a roster spot in camp last year and proving to coaches that he has the potential to be an asset to the blocking schemes with his frame and skills, it appears that the 2^nd year pro will be a contributing member to the 2008 team.
